5:13 p.m. Emergency crews were dispatched to the Plaza Laundry for a reported vehicle versus child accident. When police arrived on the scene, there was a large group of people standing around a woman holding a small child. She told the officer she was pushing her child in her stroller down the sidewalk and was crossing the entrance of the business when a car hit her and her child, knocking the child out of the stroller. She said she was pretty shook up but felt they were all okay. Medics responded to check on both the mother and the 5-year-old. Both refused...

Dolores youth earns Eagle Scout badge

It took seven years, but Evan Moore of Boy Scout Troop 518, chartered by the Mancos Hose Company No. 1, reached a goal by earning his Eagle Scout badge.

The final step in the process was his Eagle project, refurbishing the walking bridge at Mancos State Park.
