Michelle Moeller and her son, Max, 12, were on the United Airlines flight that landed safely Monday at the Durango-La Plata County Airport. The plane experienced issues with its landing gear in its nose. “The pilot said we are going to circle around the airport and try to coax the landing gear down and not to worry,” Moeller said. “It didn’t come down by itself, so they manually put it down.”
