Weekend of sledding, speeding and racing on Molas Pass
The Silverton Snowmobile Club organized a “Radar Run” in which snowmobilers rode as fast as they were able on a one-eighth mile track, while a club member recorded their speed on Saturday at Molas Lake Park. Snowmobilers in machines with engine sizes ranging from 120 cubic centimeters to 1,000cc went all out on a one-eighth mile track on Saturday at Molas Lake Park. Delanie Meador, 16, makes a run Saturday afternoon. Delanie is the daughter of Gilbert and Maureen Meador of Aztec.
