Donna Peterson rings the bell for the Salvation Army outside of City Market. She’s been volunteering for 13 years and says she loves it. Bell ringers started ringing their bells Friday, not only kicking off the holiday season, but one of the biggest fund raisers for the organization. Bell ringers will be stationed at Walgreens and both entrances of City Market and Walmart on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and the entire week leading up to Christmas.
