Locals glad to have shop back; expansion includes class, retail space
Many classes will be taught at The Painted Turtle Studio, including wheel throwing and pottery classes.
After a nearly yearlong hiatus, Sarah Allen says she is happy to be back and to have reopened Painted Turtle Studio in Mancos in a space that is about twice as large as it was previously.
In addition to painting and making pottery, you can also make fused glass at the Painted Turtle Studio.

Painted Turtle classes

Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23: After-school pottery classes from 3:45 to 5 p.m. $55 for four sessions.
Dec. 2: Make a Mosaic Christmas Stocking from 3:45 to 5 p.m. $25 includes the cost of materials (Ages 6-12).
Dec. 9, 16 and 19: Stained Glass Mosaic Design Court for teens from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. $65 includes costs of materials.
Dec. 11: After-school Holiday Card Making Celebration from 3:45 to 5 p.m. $12 per student.
