Arveda Thurman, with husband Wayne, proudly displays the brand quilt made and raffled by Southwestern Cowbelles, which Arveda won at the annual meeting of Southwestern Colorado Livestock Association and Southwestern Cowbelles held on Feb. 9. Runner-up winners of beef gift certificates were Karen Patcheck, Bunny McComb, Melody Heaton and Claire Lindus. Southwestern Cowbelles would like to thank the community for its support in the brand quilt raffle. All monies are used for beef education of the public and schools.
