The problem is humanity, not government

Editor:

I have to agree with Ken Chester to a great degree. The U.S. government has a long history of atrocities against others, from slavery to the vanquishing of the native peoples. It is difficult for any reasonable person to glorify the government in view of these horrors.

But I have realized of late that it is not the government per se that is the problem. It is humanity. I heard recently that some evolutionists think that homo sapiens may have endured as long as we have because of our violent nature. Wonderful. The only species that survive are ones that produce Hitlers and the like. Don't make the mistake of thinking that Hitlers are few and far between. Just visit your friendly neighborhood homeowners association and you may see the seeds of tyranny and oppression before your very eyes.
