Thompson scored seven points, all in the second half, but it was not enough to help the Bears (3-5 overall) overcome a 39-26 halftime deficit in a 69-55 defeat.

GOT DIBS ON THIS: Dolores junior Tyler Weir (21) clashes with Ignacio’s Austin Haire (23) for a rebound in San Juan Basin League action Tuesday night inside DHS Gymnasium. Playing on one good foot, Weir still netted 12 points (senior Cody Carroll led all players with 20, classmate Austin Blackmer added nine), but the Bobcats defeated the Bears 69-55.
