Lucille Gladem of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. announces the engagement of her daughter, Jessica, to Joe Covarrubias Jr., son of Joe and Donna Covarrubias of Yuma, Ariz. Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Dolores High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Joe is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Arizona. The couples resides and works in Tucson, Ariz. They plan to wed Sept. 21, 2013 in Dolores.
