The Lady Bears had to pull out a five-game win (21-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-14, 15-6) over the Lady Demons to avoid an early upset, then went on to defeat the host Volleycats in four (23-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-19) to reach the championship--where DHS fell 20-25, 15-25, 12-25 to Telluride. Still alive in 2012, however, Dolores (now 17-5 overall) will travel to this weekend’s Region C Tournament hosted by Vail Mountain H.S. THS (16-6) and IHS (15-7) will represent the SJBL at the Region G meet, hosted by the Lady Miners.
