The Montezuma County Public Health Department offers free cardiovascular and cholesterol screenings for residents of Montezuma County. Screenings consist of a finger-stick cholesterol check, blood pressure reading, height and weight check and blood glucose readings. A 10-year risk score will be calculated and individualized treatment and lifestyle recommendations will be made for participants based on screening results. Fasting is recommended but not required.
