Karen Marie Whyte Mills
Funeral services for Towaoc resident Karen Marie Whyte Mills will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.
Visitation has been set for Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Rosary will follow at 6 p.m. at Ertel Chapel.
Karen was born the daughter of Marshall Whyte and Harriet Beecher Whyte on June 29, 1944 in rural La Plata County, Colo. She passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital on Monday, Aug. 6, 2012 at the age of 68.
