Charles Duff Mercantile, Hays Paint Store, and James Morrison Mercantile. This mercantile was known as the Scott Building — the building burned in the fire of 1898. This is the corner of South Market and Main Streets (known as Valley Tower Corner).
Main Street, Cortez, late 1890s — McEwen Livery or Kermode Livery, C.A. Johnson Barber Shop, Goodykoontz residence (now Sears); at the corner of South Market and Main Streets.
