Leola Lynn “Stormy” Osborne Meek was born to Ellis and Lucille Lavender Osborne June 26, 1955 in Marysville, Calif. She died on March 24, 2012 at Matanuska Valley Hospital at Palmer, Alaska.

Stormy moved to Dolores in 1972 and attended Dolores High School. She married Jeff Meek, a union that ended in divorce. She moved to Wasilla, Alaska in about 1991.

Stormy leaves behind many people who loved her, including the love of her life, William Van Henley, her sister Lou Ellis Kramer (Virgil), her brothers, Loyd Osborne and Arthur Osborne (Bobbie), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

Graveside services will be held for Stormy at Summit Ridge Cemetery near Dolores at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21.
