A one-stoplight town

Dolores now has its very own stoplight, part of a Colorado Department of Transportation project on the Highway 145 bridge. The project includes bridge repair, resurfacing, drainage control and weatherproofing on the highway from Dolores to Cortez. The work is contracted to Skanska Civil USA West Rocky Mountain District for $5.7 million and is expected to be completed in mid-August.
