Blake and Tyra Hughes of Mancos are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Madison Mari Hughes. Madison was born Sept. 24, 2012 at 12:19 p.m. at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez. Madison weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 19 3/8 inches long at birth. Her extremely proud big sister is Avonlea Rayne Hughes. Madison’s happy grandparents are Dan and Linnea Vegas of Mancos, Alfred Hughes of Mancos, Debra Parsons of Mancos, and Charles Thompson of Craig, Colo. She also has some other very tickled relatives, Aunt Laura Hughes of Durango, and Uncle Tyson Hughes of Mancos.
