When an armful is just the right amount, consider this little feller. This cute boy is an adult Pug/Chihuahua mix. He’s 3 years-old, and has lots of character, with that little shovel nose, undershot lower jaw and big, brown monkey eyes. He’s sweet-natured and great with other dogs, but has a “Little Big Man” dominant demeanor, so he’s better with girls. He definitely likes to be the big man on campus. The shelter also has other loving dogs, and lots of deserving cats — including Big Ben, a brawny, affectionate seal-point Siamese — and adorable kittens in all colors. The cat room is full, so they really need your help. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays. The shelter will be open this Friday.
