Mr. and Mrs. David Schaak of Cortez, and Mr. and Mrs. Rick Gallegos of Battlement Mesa, Colo., are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Jenna Nicole Schaak and Richard Alan Gallegos II on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at the Cortez Christian Church. Jenna is a 2010 graduate of Montezuma-Cortez High School and attended Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colo. She will graduate in June 2012 from Paulas Academy of Beauty Culture with a degree in cosmetology. Richard graduated from Grand Valley High School in 2007 and also attended Colorado Mesa University, majoring in criminal justice. He is currently employed with the Montezuma County Sheriffs Office. The couple plan to make their home in Cortez.
